"And these words, which I command you this day, shall be upon your heart."[Deuteronomy 6:6]

"This day, the Lord, your God, is commanding you to fulfill these statutes and ordinances..." [Deuteronomy 26:16]

It was a great meeting. Going from Israel, on my way to Ohio, I stopped in Tennessee, and the airport became our hosting point. We spent more than four hours of pleasant discussions. We felt like a group of very close friends who met last time just yesterday, even though we didn't saw each other for 2,000 years.
The BIBLE was in the center, not only of the table but more as the heart of our conversation.
Questions, Answers, Knowlege, Tears, and a strong feeling of a New/Old Prophecy dimension were in the air.
"The most important lesson I've learned today," Said David at the end,
"Is how much we need to learn more."

This unique feeling reminded me of an unclear verse of the Bible.

"And these words, which I command you this day, shall be upon your heart. [Duteronomy 6:6]". When our sages learned this verse, they asked a simple question based on the premise that there is no unnecessary word in the Bible. So why is it mentioning the phrase "...which I command you this day..."?!
They're answering a straightforward truth:
"The words of GOD in the BIBLE should not appear to you as an antiquated edict (דְּיוּטַגְמָא) which no one cares about [like yesterday newspaper],
but as a new one [Feel like God wrote those words for your ears this day],
which every one hastens to read. The word דְּיוּטַגְמָא means
a royal edict which comes in writing."

This logic of "The newest news," which drives people to listen to the news,
can be said on the BIBLE only if we understand it
as GOD's speaking with us, guiding our way of life,
assisting in our journey to get close to him.
It is a live message. Not an old one.

Well, I must admit, as a Bible learner
who starts the BIBLE every year from the beginning,
like all of us in the Hebrew nation
I do find NEW insights each time I'm learning God's words.
