A relationship between Faith, Miracles, and Nature

Listen to this blog

Step 1; Faith, Miracles, and Nature

Is there such a thing as a miracle in the world or it’s only a Faith?
Why does “nature” exist? When did it come into existence?

Let us take a look at the following situation. The nation of Israel,
A nation of slaves left Egypt just a few days ago.
They are standing at the coastline of the sea,
With a harsh desert on the right and on the left.
Suddenly they see Egyptians, who had been their masters for many generations,
Pursuing them with a well-organized army.
What pressure, what a mess, what anger, what turmoil…
Moses, the leader who took the people out of Egypt,
Stands on a rock overlooking the sea, and he raises his staff high above his head.
This is the same famous staff which according to legend was transformed into a serpent,
Became a staff once again and then swallowed up the staffs of the Egyptian sorcerers
Which had also become serpents… (FAITH ONLY?!)
A strong wind rises up, and after a few minutes, the sea splits into two!

Wow!!

The people at the front of the line check the ground that was uncovered in the seabed,
And they see that it is dry land. They murmur to themselves,
“We can escape this way,” and within a few minutes they hear the shouts from all around them
“Let’s escape from the Egyptians! All we have to do is to enter the pathway in the sea!”
And the entire nation begins to move onto the land, which is completely dry.
What an amazing miracle! (or maybe just a strong faith?…)
This is the well-known story.
The Egyptians also go onto the dry land, but when Israel leaves from the other end
The sea returns to its normal self, the water inundates the Egyptians from all sides, and they all drown.
And all of this leaves us with an important question.
Did this really happen?

Are miracles real events that can take place?

Can water, which flows freely in all directions, become a standing wall?
(And we are not talking about ice but the liquid water that stands upright!)
Great minds wondered about this matter throughout the history of the world,
As early as the first philosophers who ever existed.
They claim it is all only a ‘Faith’.
The main question is: What is a miracle and what is nature?
The usual definition of a miracle is something that breaks the laws of nature.
For example, an apple does not fall to the bottom of a tree but is found on the roof of a nearby building…
However, according to the insight of the prophets,
There is a strong link between a miracle and nature.
This can be seen in the example of the splitting of the Red Sea and the crossing of the Children of Israel,
Where the miracle took place only after the rise of a strong easterly wind,
Resulting in the splitting of the water.
The same is true of the miracles performed by the Prophet Elijah.
